ABOUT THE SCHOOL
Dive right into class with one of our expert teachers. Rather than just listening, memorising, and repeating facts, our classes have students discovering, analysing, and learning from authentic (life-based) material. Our goal as educators is to spur our students’ curiosity, and allow them to learn at their own pace.
David Green English Language Institute provides an integrated course schedule of learning through exploration, scrutiny, and self-reflection. In every class, our teachers emphasise the strategies and processes involved in learning and self-growth, creating a unique opportunity to prepare our students to live intelligent, thoughtful, and fulfilling lives in a rapidly changing society.
“It is extremely rewarding to congratulate Cambridge learners and teachers at David Green English Language Institute who have worked so hard to achieve tremendous success in Cambridge examinations. Learners from David Green English Language Institute have a bright future ahead of them, and I wish them every success in their future”.
– Ann Gibson-Cambridge’s Regional Manager for Europe

The Institute has been welcoming students of English for over 30 years now. By continuous development of our own personal and professional skills, we aim to create the best possible learning opportunities for every one of our students. We enjoy teaching English and hope to share our enthusiasm with you.
The Institute is recognized by the Cyprus Ministry of Education ( Reg. No. 260/1987) and is a member of the Pan-Cyprian Association of English Language Institutes. All staff are members of IATEFL (International Association of Teachers of English).
Both students and teachers benefit from a pleasant and up-to-date teaching environment. The Institute complies fully with safety and other requirements of a public building. It consists of three storeys of comfortable classrooms, offices, a computer room, a library, and reception area. It is well-equipped with teaching materials which are being updated all the time, including access to TEFL web sites and materials, as well as the latest interactive teaching technologies.
OUR RESULTS OVER THE YEARS
After teaching university entrance examinations for over 31 years-in Cyprus alone- it is probably surprising to note that the overall pattern of our results has changed little with the changing times and examinations. Basically, the harder you work; the better the results! Occasionally, we get exceptional results but in the final analysis we usually end up with the hard-workers doing very well with A* or A and the others getting grades according to effort!
We always work through Easter and provide an extra hour free making the total number of hours per week four; not three. We also have a mock examination after the Christmas holidays. All of this helps those students who are ready to work.
